Meeting between the President of the Economic and Social Council of Greece and the President of the Hellenic Parliament

On Tuesday, 20 October 2026, a meeting took place between the President of the Economic and Social Council of Greece (ESC), Mr Athanasios Ioannidis, and the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr Nikitas Kaklamanis.

During the meeting, the President of the ESC presented the Council’s work and activities, the procedure followed in drafting its Opinions, and its plans for the coming period. He also expressed his wish to strengthen constructive cooperation between the two institutions and to promote the ESC’s participation in the activities and initiatives of the Hellenic Parliament.
