Real income per capita increases in both the euro area and the EU

In the fourth quarter of 2025, household real consumption per capita increased by 0.5% in the euro area, after an increase of 0.4% in the previous quarter. In the same period, household real income per capita increased by 0.1%, after staying stable in the third quarter of 2025.

In the EU as a whole, household real consumption per capita increased by 0.6% in the fourth quarter of 2025, after an increase of 0.6% in the previous quarter. At the same time, household real income per capita increased by 0.2%, after having increased by 0.1% in the third quarter of 2025.
