Ωστόσο, σε ορισμένες μεγάλες ομάδες επαγγελμάτων, όπως ταξινομούνται από την ISCO, οι γυναίκες αντιπροσώπευαν το μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό: Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία γυναίκες ήταν το 65,8% των εργαζομένων σε θέσεις γραφείου, το 63,5% των εργαζομένων στις υπηρεσίες και στις πωλήσεις, το 54,3% των επαγγελματιών όπως επιστήμονες, εκπαιδευτικοί και το 53,0% των εργαζομένων σε θέσεις απασχόλησης στοιχειώδους επιπέδου.
